Satvik AI Connect terms of service

The rules for using Satvik AI Connect, written in plain English. These cover the plugin and our hosted service, not this website as a whole.

The short version

  • Satvik AI Connect lets your AI assistant work on your WordPress content: posts, pages, media, SEO and similar. It cannot manage users, plugins, themes, site-wide settings or code.
  • You stay in charge. You choose what the AI may do, which WordPress user it acts as, and how long access lasts. You can switch it off at any time.
  • Check the AI's work. AI can make mistakes. Review important changes and keep backups.
  • We do not sell your data. What we collect and why is explained in the plugin and in our privacy policy.

1. Who we are

Satvik AI Connect is provided by Satvik Infotech ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the Satvik AI Connect WordPress plugin when it is connected to our hosted service at connect.satvikinfotech.com (together, "the Service").

By connecting your site to the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service for a business, you agree on its behalf.

2. What the Service does

The Service links your WordPress site to AI assistants that support custom connectors, such as Claude and ChatGPT. When you ask your AI assistant to do something on your site, the request passes through our hub to the plugin, which carries it out using WordPress's own functions.

By design, the Service is limited to content. The AI can work with posts, pages, media, categories, tags, comments, menus, post meta, SEO titles and descriptions, a short list of display settings and page-builder caches.

It cannot manage users, install or change plugins and themes, change site-wide settings, or create, edit or delete files.

3. Your account and access

  • You must be an administrator of the WordPress site you connect, or have the site owner's permission.
  • You sign in to the Service with your Google account. Keep that account and your connection link secure. Anyone with access to them may be able to use the Service on your site.
  • If you think your connection link has been exposed, use Regenerate link in the plugin. The old link stops working immediately.
  • You choose the WordPress user the AI acts as. Every action is limited by that user's WordPress permissions, so we recommend an Editor account.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Review AI changes. AI assistants can misunderstand requests or produce inaccurate content. You are responsible for what is published on your site.
  • Keep backups. Keep regular backups of your site so you can restore content if something goes wrong.
  • Use it lawfully. Do not use the Service to publish unlawful, harmful, infringing or misleading content, or to send spam.
  • Do not misuse the Service. Do not try to get around the plugin's permission limits, attack or overload our systems, or access sites you are not authorised to manage.

5. AI assistants are third-party services

Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants are provided by their own companies, not by us. Content your AI assistant reads from or writes to your site is processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Satvik AI Connect is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI or any other AI provider.

6. Free trial and paid plans

  • Each site can use a free trial with a limited number of AI actions for a limited time, as shown in the plugin. Reading your site is free; creating, updating or deleting uses an action.
  • After the trial, you can buy a paid plan on our website. Prices and plan details are shown before you pay.
  • A plan applies to the site it was bought for, unless we agree otherwise.
  • If you have a question about billing, contact us using the details below.

7. Your data

Nothing is sent to our hub until an administrator agrees on the plugin's consent screen. After that, we receive only what the Service needs to work: your site address, a connection key, connection status and a short log of AI actions.

Administrator contact details and install or update events are sent only if you tick the separate, optional box. The full list is in the plugin's readme and in our privacy policy.

Your content passes through the hub only when your AI assistant reads or edits it at your request. Your database and passwords are never sent. We do not sell your data.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features over time.

If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

9. Suspending or ending access

You can stop using the Service at any time by letting access expire, regenerating your link or deactivating the plugin. Deleting the plugin removes its settings from your site and asks our hub to delete your site's records.

We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if a site is being used to cause harm, or if we need to protect the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we do not give warranties about the accuracy of AI-generated content or that the Service will meet every need.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, content, revenue or profit arising from use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. The plugin licence

The Satvik AI Connect WordPress plugin is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. These terms cover the hosted Service, not your rights under that licence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will let you know through the plugin or by email where we reasonably can.

If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
